Ant control is part of our general pest control service, which starts at $197 for the first treatment. That covers a full inspection and treatment of your interior, exterior, crawl space and attic. After that, ongoing quarterly protection is $37 a month. For fire ants, we also offer standalone fire ant treatments and bundled packages that can save you money.
What types of ants are common in Eastern North Carolina?
Around Greenville and New Bern, we mostly see fire ants, carpenter ants, odorous house ants and Argentine ants. Fire ants are common in yards and give painful stings, while carpenter ants can damage your home by tunneling through wood. We’ll identify the species during your inspection and recommend the right treatment.
Why do I still see ants after treatment?
Seeing some ants for a few days after treatment is normal. The products we use are meant to be carried back to the colony by the ants themselves, so they need to stay active for a little while to spread the treatment through the nest. It’s a sign the treatment is working. If you’re still seeing a lot of activity after a week or two, call us and we’ll come back out at no extra charge.
