Free drone roof inspection
Our FAA-certified drone pilots capture high-resolution photos of the roof, so you see its condition and any problems without anyone climbing up there.
More than 10,000 inspections, a free drone roof inspection and infrared scan on every job, and your full report within 24 hours.

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make, and a good inspection can save you from costly surprises down the road. Advanced Termite and Pest Control has performed more than 10,000 home inspections across Eastern North Carolina, giving buyers, sellers and homeowners the facts they need to move forward with confidence.
Every inspection comes with a full digital report within 24 hours, complete with photos, video and the HomeGauge Create Request List tool. We’re a family-owned company, and we take the time to walk you through what we found so nothing gets lost in translation.
A lot of inspection companies rush through the job and hand you a generic report. We do it differently. Our inspectors are also trained in pest control, so we catch what other inspectors miss, like moisture damage in crawl spaces, wood-destroying insect activity and drainage problems that lead to bigger trouble later.
Every job includes a free drone roof inspection, so you get a clear look at the roof without anyone climbing up there. When we’re done, we sit down with you, go over everything we found and answer every question you have.

Beyond the standard buyer’s inspection, here’s everything else we inspect and test for.
Selling? Have your home inspected before you list it. You’ll get the chance to fix problems that might otherwise be overlooked and make negotiations with buyers harder.
Sellers get a wood-destroying insect report at no extra charge with a pre-listing inspection.
This one happens after the framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins are done but before the drywall goes up. It checks that the house is being built safely, to the approved plans and to code, and it catches problems while they’re still cheap to fix.
Performed to the Inspector Nation Standard of Practice for Pre-Drywall Home Inspections.
Bought a new home? Your builder likely gave you a limited one-year warranty. We inspect while it’s still active to find defects that have shown up since closing, so you can ask the builder to cover the repairs.
Call us before the builder’s final walkthrough. We inspect the finished structure and the installed mechanical systems and tell you what we find, so problems get fixed before they become your repair bills.
Keeping up with a home is easier with a plan. We inspect for existing maintenance issues, then give you advice on handling them so your home stays in good condition.
Many home insurers want to see the condition of four key systems, the roof, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, before they’ll write a policy. Our 4-point report should satisfy most major insurers.
If your repair requests were granted, call us once the work is done. We’ll come back to the property and confirm the repairs were made, so you can move forward without loose ends.
For buyers only. One re-inspection per property, before the buyer takes possession.
Available for most light commercial properties, from small business spaces to restaurants and warehouses. We go over the building’s strengths and weaknesses so you aren’t blindsided after closing.
We inspect for possible microbial growth, high humidity and water intrusion, check the humidity in each room and take an air quality sample from your HVAC system. Based on what we see, we take swab or tape lift samples and send them to EMSL Analytical.
Our inspectors are Inspector Nation Certified Mold Inspection Specialists and follow its Standard of Practice for Mold Inspection and Testing.
You can’t see or smell radon without special equipment. We measure the radon levels inside the home with a state-of-the-art radon monitor, so you know whether mitigation is needed.

Radon in the homeHot summers and high humidity make high wood moisture common in Eastern NC. We control and monitor it with vapor barriers, foundation venting or crawl space encapsulation with a dehumidifier, which makes your home more energy efficient and helps prevent mold.
Many lenders require a wood-destroying insect report before closing. Ours is $30 off when you book it with your home inspection.
Our pest control is built around your home. We assess your property, find current or potential pest problems and set up a treatment plan for long-term protection, with minimal disruption.
